Dear Readers,
Namaste!
New Year is a great chance to reflect on the accomplishments and highs and lows of the past year, and it also signals a fresh start. Although a new year is just another set of 365 days, a new rotation around the sun. At its simplest form it’s just the resetting of a clock consisting of 12 months. While New Year is a good excuse to make resolutions and set goals for yourself, you can make them at any point throughout the year. If you meet a goal, you can also rework it — goals are ever-changing. If you prefer to look ahead, then make a 2022 vision board. Find some magazines and cut out images that speak to you. Glue them onto cardstock.
With all of the grief, joy, and change 2021 has brought, it may be more important to you to take some time away from everyone to just sit with yourself, meditate, and really process what all has happened this year.
If you don’t fancy starting the New Year cooped up indoors, grab a friend, family member or your partner and head out for an early morning walk to watch the sunrise. Not only will you get some early morning exercise, but starting a New Year watching the sunrise with someone special is much more inspiring and conducive for a healthy new beginning than waking up midday with a hangover!
On the occasion of new year, we are presenting a new look of OTD.
We hope you like the updated look and that you will continue to enjoy the content we provide. Our editorial staff will continue to work hard to bring you objective and wide-ranging news around the globe.
